Under broad supervision, the Associate Labeling Specialist supports labeling projects by ensuring product artwork content complies with state and federal regulations.
Major Responsibilities
● Packaging Submission: Review, verify, and complete packaging submissions to the graphic design team, authorizing label content based on regulatory structure and documented product claims.
● Documentation Evaluation: Assess supporting documentation for relevance to desired product claims.
● Compliance Review: Review, approve, and document product labeling (packaging/collateral) to ensure compliance with regulatory structure and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
● Auditing: Periodically audit historic files, processes, and databases. Maintain company/department databases, logs, and files.
● Customer Service: Provide timely and effective communication and support to internal customers (product divisions) using a customer service approach.
● Training Support: Assist in training divisional personnel on regulatory product structure, labeling requirements, and labeling procedures.
Education:
● Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma with relevant job experience.
Work Experience:
● Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
● Experience in processing relevant details, evaluating and prioritizing their importance, and drawing clear and concise conclusions.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
● Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
● Strong time management skills to prioritize, organize, and track details to meet deadlines for multiple projects.
● Experience evaluating information to ensure compliance with standards, laws, and regulations
