Job Description

A distinguished law firm is seeking a highly motivated Employment Law Associate with 2 to 8 years of experience to join their growing Employment Group. This position involves handling a variety of employment-related legal matters, including pre-litigation issues, single-plaintiff disputes, wage and hour class actions, and Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) representative actions. The role offers opportunities for significant case management, direct client interaction, and courtroom advocacy.

Duties:
* Handle pre-litigation matters, high-profile employment cases, and systemic discrimination claims.
* Work on wage and hour class actions and PAGA representative actions.
* Respond to administrative charges and counsel clients on various employment-related issues.
* Take an active role in developing strategies for complex employment cases.
* Conduct and defend depositions.
* Make court appearances, argue motions, and represent clients in mediations.
* Engage in legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda.

Requirements:
* 2+ years of employment litigation experience.
* Experience managing cases and working directly with corporate clients.
* Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

Education:
* Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
* Active membership in the California State Bar.

Skills:
* Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills.
* Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
* Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking.

Desired Skills and Experience

2+ years of employment law experience.
Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
