Summary

As the brand is growing, so is our team! Egglife Foods is looking for an experienced FP&A Manager to join the finance team, reporting to the Senior Director of Finance. In this newly created role, you will advance our financial planning processes and use of analytical modeling to support the continued growth of Egglife Foods. You will also lean into process improvements on both the finance and accounting sides of the business. You will prepare financial information for internal and external financial statements, providing in-depth analysis and working closely with key leadership supporting decision making and planning activities. The FP&A Manager will maintain close working relationships with the Senior Director of Finance, finance team, and cross-functional team members.

Essential job functions

Working with guidance and support from the Senior Director of Finance you will:

• You will prepare accurate monthly financial reports, assist in the preparation of presentations that provide thoughtful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made.
• Provide analysis, management reporting, planning, and accounting support to our growing business.
• Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements, including lender and Board reporting. Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
• Build and analyze long term forecasting scenarios to provide management with information vital to the decision-making process
• Acquire, filter, clean, and transform data as required.
• Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights. Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.
• Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Design and develop financial models and reports to improve the forecasting and reporting processes. Develop analytical frameworks to support AOP and Long Range Plan strategies.
• Coordinate with operational, sales and marketing teams to manage the financial budget and forecasting processes.
• Develop, monitor, and publish business performance metrics providing variance & causal analysis and key insights.
• Create and prepare financial analysis.
• Coordinating activities of external auditors, as needed.
• Ad hoc reporting.
• Special projects as assigned by the Executive Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• At least 5 years accounting/financial analysis experience, with CPG Food & Beverage preferred.
• Must be highly computer literate with data mining and ERP systems, have strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment. Requires deadline-driven, high-energy individual, able to work autonomously and lead as key contributor on teams.
• The individual will be expected to be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting and finance field.
• Must have solid knowledge of GAAP, CPA preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking skills, strong people skills are a must, as well as willingness to accept and task ownership of new responsibilities in a fast-growing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication
• Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization
• Business savvy: a value-add, initiative-taking member of the organization who helps to elevate the rest of the accounting and senior management team.
• Expert MS Excel user, knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, and the ability to multi-task with moderate supervision. Oracle, Netsuite, and MS Power BI experience a plus.
