Junior Sourcer / Recruiting Coordinator (100% onsite)

We’re growing rapidly—and we’re looking for a high-energy, detail-obsessed Junior Sourcer / Recruiting Coordinator to help us scale our exceptional team. If you thrive in fast-paced, hardware-rich environments and have an eye for technical talent, we want to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand key talent needs across engineering, manufacturing, and aerospace functions
  • Build and maintain robust pipelines of technical candidates, especially in mechanical, electrical, systems, and aerospace engineering roles
  • Proactively source passive candidates
  • Screen and engage candidates via messaging, email, and phone to assess fit and interest
  • Manage scheduling for interviews and ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain our ATS with accurate candidate and requisition data
  • Support recruiting operations, including tracking metrics, coordinating events, and helping with offer logistics

Basic Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in a recruiting, sourcing, or coordination role—ideally within aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing
  • Familiarity with recruiting for hardware-focused engineering roles (e.g., mechanical, propulsion, avionics, manufacturing, test engineering, etc.)
  • Strong sourcing skills and comfort using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Github, Reddit, Google X-Ray, University Alumni Pages, Boolean search strategies, etc.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized—able to juggle multiple reqs, candidates, and hiring teams
  • Unflappable under pressure and thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Comfortable working 100% onsite in Torrance, CA
  • Mission-driven and excited to help build a team working on national security’s hardest challenges

  • Prior experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
  • Familiarity with DoD programs, TS/SCI clearance processes, or defense industry recruiting norms
