The Hackensack, NJ office of Cullen and Dykman LLP is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join its Banking/Real Estate Department. The Legal Assistant will report to three attorneys including a Senior Partner and is a vital part of the Banking/Real Estate Team .

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Corresponding and communicating with clients.
• Sorting and maintaining files and schedules.
• Managing all incoming and outgoing information related to a matter.
• Maintaining attorney’s calendar and appointments.
• Setting up meetings and reserve conference rooms for meetings.
• Daily input of time entries into billing software.
• Daily correspondence, emails and follow-up.
• Transcribe dictation as needed.
• Typing contracts/banking forms/templates.
• Redlining documents.
• Overflow support for other attorneys as needed.

Educational/Experience Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree, a plus.
• 5+ years of commercial banking real estate experience in a law firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
• Ability to transcribe from dictation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with clients and title companies.
• Attention to details a must.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Ability to work independently.

We offer a competitive salary, an excellent benefits package and a collaborative, friendly environment. The salary range for this role is $50,000 – $75,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
