ERP is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability and Veteran. **Responsibilities** **Work Schedule:** Monday - Friday, 9 hour shift between 7:30am and 5:30pm, with a one hour lunch break. No Call No weekends or holidays **Job Specific Position Duties:** The duties include, but are not limited to the following: - Perform a full range of physician services in accordance with privileges granted by the MTF. - Clinically direct, perform, or assist in the instruction of other health care professionals within the scope of the clinical privileges or responsibilities. - Examine, diagnose, treat or prescribe courses of treatment within the scope of training, experience, and privileges. - Facilitate patient access to medical care by recommending appropriate referrals to other health care providers in accordance with MTF policies and regulations. - Provide outpatient services for patients as scheduled by the Government. - Care shall include but not be limited to routine general internal medicine care to include care for acute and chronic patient conditions. - May become the primary care manager for a panel of patients. - Duties include managing patient care to include approving/disapproving subspecialty referrals, answering patient telephone consults with the assistance of clinic staff, refilling prescriptions, providing primary and secondary preventative maintenance care. - Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency problems as they occur. - Have sufficient experience to be able to adequately diagnose and treat diseases and injuries to include, but not limited to the following: - Have sufficient experience to be able to adequately perform the following medical procedures, to include, but not limited to the following: - Electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation - CPR - Prepare all records and reports within the timeframe required in support of services rendered and as required by the MTF. - Take part in clinic Quality Assurance Program as required to meet the standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** *** Education:** MD or DO, completion of relevant internship/residency ***** **Experience:** Shall have a minimum of one year relevant experience, in Internal Medicine or Family Practice *** Licensure:** Active, unrestricted license to practice as a physician from any state. *** Board Certification:** Current board certification/Board eligible is desired.
