Insight Global is thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer to join one of our federal clients in their National Security Sector team. If you have a passion for engineering and a desire to support critical PACAF ISR systems, this is the perfect role for you. Located at the scenic Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH) in Hawai’i, you'll have the chance to work in one of the most beautiful locations in the world while making a significant impact.

Primary Responsibilities.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll provide subject-matter expertise on the engineering and technical services required to maintain, integrate, and enhance critical PACAF ISR systems (both command and unit-level). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Systems Analysis & Design: Analyzing and developing plans and designs for C4I systems capabilities, and creating integration and implementation plans and schedules.
  • Evaluation & Recommendations: Evaluating and making recommendations for commercial and government off-the-shelf (COTS/GOTS) hardware and software applications.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitoring project statuses, preparing milestone status reports, and presenting updates to program managers and client staff.
  • Technical Support: Providing technical and administrative support for systems installation, testing, administration, maintenance, and programming.
  • Operational Support: Offering operational and maintenance support for C4I systems, including system administration, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Architectural Upgrades: Supporting the installation and upgrading

Basic Qualifications.

  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • US Citizenship required
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related scientific field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in C4I-related systems, activities, and programs.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Certifications: CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and/or Cisco Certifying Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise.
