Speech-Language Pathologist (Part-Time Contractor)

St. Stephens Indian School is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with speech and language services during the 2025–2026 school year. This is a part-time, highly flexible role with a schedule coordinated directly with the school.

Compensation

• $90–$120 per hour, depending on experience
• Mileage reimbursement: $0.67 per mile (2025 federal estimate)
• Housing reimbursement available
• $1,000 sign-on bonus

Position details:

• 16 total weeks of on-site service during the school year
• 4 days per week (Monday through Thursday), 7 hours per day (448 hours a year total)
• Exact service windows are flexible and scheduled in conversation with the school

Responsibilities include:

• Providing speech and language therapy to eligible students as outlined in their IEPs
• Conducting evaluations and assessments
• Participating in eligibility determinations and IEP meetings
• Maintaining documentation of services and student progress
• Developing IEP goals and objectives, and preparing written reports
• Consulting with parents, teachers, and other school staff
• Attending child study team meetings and providing pre-referral input
• Supporting compliance with Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) and federal special education requirements

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current, unrestricted SLP license from any U.S. state or territory
• Must pass a federal background check
• U.S. citizenship required
