As the Forklift Operator of McLane Global, you will use a stand-up reach truck and an electric pallet jack to unload trucks in a quick, safe, and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for putting products away into racking, assisting on special projects, and loading outbound trucks. This role will be critical in providing world-class service to our clients and to the daily performance of the warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate stand-up reach trucks and electric pallet jacks
• Perform daily functions of loading/unloading trucks, put away, picking, and packing
• Ability to use basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, and multiplying
• Document damages, overages and shortages according to company guidelines
• Ensure accurate order numbers and correct shipping labels are included on each pallet
• Perform cycle counts as assigned
• Maintain cleanliness in and around the warehouse
• Assist in all aspects of the business
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum experience of 1-year operating stand-up reach trucks and electric jacks
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to be on feet on cement floors for long periods of time
• Must be safety conscience and operate equipment in a safe manner
• Must be willing to work in a team environment
• Able to demonstrate problem solving skills in high-stress situations
• Must be flexible to schedule changes
• Must have basic math skills
• Ability to work independently with general supervision
• Able to read, write and speak English
