Job Description – Sales Associate East Hampton

We are looking for a Sales Associate to join our team in the heart of East Hampton.

Responsibilities: 

• Customer Service: Deliver a warm, welcoming experience to every guest. Provide personalized styling and product recommendations.
• Sales: Meet personal and store sales goals by ensuring every guest receives exceptional customer service. Establish returning client base by developing and maintaining relationships.
• Product Knowledge: Utilize company selling tools and seasonal guides. Communicate effectively to guests about the brand and product.
• Payment Processing: Offer seamless shopping experience by effectively operating Shopify to process payments, and handle returns or refunds.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized front and back of the house. Ensure the sales floor reflects the vibe of the brand at all times
• Inventory: Proactively assist with inventory management tasks, such as receiving shipments and conducting stock counts.
• Promotions: Clearly communicate promotions, new products, and loyalty programs to guests
• Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints and resolve issues gracefully

Requirements:

· Previous sales experienced preferred but not required

· Ability to constantly bend, open, lift, carry and move merchandise and fixtures up to 25 pounds as needed

· Continuous standing and walking; ability to move around all store areas and be accessible to customers

· Ability to occasionally climb ladders as needed

· Ability to work daily with telephone, POS and computer equipment

· Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
