Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Accountant to join our team. Onsite daily at our office in Annapolis, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting and a passion for providing exceptional tax services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Conduct tax research and stay current with tax laws and regulations.
• Assist with tax planning and provide strategic tax advice to clients.
• Ensure compliance with all tax filing deadlines and requirements.
• Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive financial services.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and explain tax-related matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting within a public accounting firm.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
