Job Description

Contract to hire opportunity available for a Technical Business Analyst. In this role you will collaborate with other team members to ensure product development aligns with contractual and regulatory requirements while mitigating reputational risks. As part of a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, the analyst must independently drive SDLC deliverables, including:

• Project scope definition
• Business requirements documentation
• Test planning and execution
• Defect management

The primary focus will be on implementing new capabilities or product features within the Product Policy Value process.

Responsibilities:

• Author user stories and calculation requirements.
• Develop and oversee test strategies.
• Support the quality assurance team in test planning and execution.
• Guide project execution using available information rather than eliciting new requirements.

Experience:

• Strong critical thinking and ability to translate high-level concepts into actionable requirements or test strategies.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels, from project teams to executive sponsors.
• Technical aptitude with an ability to navigate complex systems.
• Self-motivated and proactive, able to operate independently with minimal instruction.
• Strong sense of urgency, addressing open questions and risks efficiently.
• Customer-focused mindset, ensuring solutions align with business needs.
• Solution-oriented approach—prioritizing "how we can" over "why we can't."

Qualifications:

• Actuarial, Mathematics, or Product Development experience.
• Experience in Financial Product Modeling, Test Strategy, and Execution Oversight.
• Background in Financial Services.
• Experience managing large-scale, enterprise-wide implementations involving diverse stakeholders and end users.

The W2 pay range for this type of role is approximately $40.00 - $50.00 per billable hour. This range is an estimate and not a guarantee of compensation.
