Job Description

Onward Search is a specialized education staffing and talent solutions organization that helps educators, therapists, and school health professionals connect with meanginful new opportunities with the nation's top schools.We are currently seeking a dedicated and caring Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a collaborative school team in Will County, IL for the 2025-2026 school year to provide speech and language therapies for both English and Spanish-speaking students.

Details:

  • Location: In-person (no hybrid or remote options available)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week
  • Grade Levels: Elementary & middle school, K-8
  • Caseload: TBD
  • Start Date: August 11th, 2025
  • End Date: May 22, 2026

In this role, you will:

  • Provide therapy services to support students’ speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs and track progress.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates may be considered.
  • Speech Language Pathology License in the state of Illinois.
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish.
