Job Description

BrightLeaf Group is looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented Digital Project Manager to join our team. Offering a flexible work schedule and environment, this remote position will require occasional face-to-face meetings in Austin, Texas.

The Digital Project Manager will manage web design, development, and maintenance/support projects, improve user experience, identify opportunities and resolve issues, and ensure proper QA. This role leads in planning and developing strategic solutions, including building work breakdowns, staffing plans, time and cost estimates, and schedules.

 

Success in this role requires exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, deep knowledge of web design and development best practices, a track record of delivering high-quality digital solutions, and a keen attention to detail.

 

Responsibilities

 

● Provide end-to-end web project management, from proposal to project close

● Analyze project requirements, scope solutions, and prepare budget and schedules

● Develop detailed designs and plans, monitor progress, and create project documentation

● Liaise with relevant teams, clients, and managers

● Build trust and close working relationship with clients, listen carefully for their questions and concerns, and understand their perspectives and requests

 

Requirements

 

● Proven experience managing web design, development, maintenance, and support projects in an Agile environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality, user-centered digital solutions

● Experience managing the development of government agency websites or web applications

● Practical experience with CMS (Drupal, WordPress, other), Google Analytics, and PM tools

● Ability to identify risks and problems early and mitigate them

● Positive attitude, friendly, and deadline-driven

● PMI Certification or formal project management training will be a plus

● 5+ recent years of directly relevant experience
