The Paralegal will provide litigation, legal, and administrative support to attorneys in a fast-paced, high-performance legal environment. This role demands a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives under pressure and can manage multiple priorities. Hybrid work flexibility is offered, with in-office presence required as needed.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare document indexes, chronologies, and privilege logs
Organize and summarize deposition transcripts and discovery materials
Draft legal documents including subpoenas, discovery responses, pleadings, and settlement agreements
Prepare and file court documents in compliance with court rules
Conduct legal and public records research (e.g., Westlaw, internet searches)
Support trial preparation including exhibit management and trial binder creation
Coordinate e-discovery, including searches and uploads
Proofread and edit legal documents
Provide litigation secretarial support and assist with general administrative tasks
Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience in a law firm or legal department
Strong knowledge of legal procedures and court rules
Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong research skills including experience with Westlaw
(2) days in-office days per week, during onboarding and training there will be a three (3) day in-office per week requirement. Must be flexible and willing to work in person for additional days as needed for coverage and/or other business needs.
