Job Description

Employment Law Paralegal Job Summary:

The Paralegal will provide litigation, legal, and administrative support to attorneys in a fast-paced, high-performance legal environment. This role demands a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives under pressure and can manage multiple priorities. Hybrid work flexibility is offered, with in-office presence required as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare document indexes, chronologies, and privilege logs

  • Organize and summarize deposition transcripts and discovery materials

  • Draft legal documents including subpoenas, discovery responses, pleadings, and settlement agreements

  • Prepare and file court documents in compliance with court rules

  • Conduct legal and public records research (e.g., Westlaw, internet searches)

  • Support trial preparation including exhibit management and trial binder creation

  • Coordinate e-discovery, including searches and uploads

  • Proofread and edit legal documents

  • Provide litigation secretarial support and assist with general administrative tasks

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience in a law firm or legal department

  • Strong knowledge of legal procedures and court rules

  • Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Strong research skills including experience with Westlaw

(2) days in-office days per week, during onboarding and training there will be a three (3) day in-office per week requirement. Must be flexible and willing to work in person for additional days as needed for coverage and/or other business needs.
