Job Description:

Southwest Flooring and Tile is seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our growing team in Sarasota, Florida. The ideal candidate will have experience installing a variety of tile types including ceramic, porcelain, marble, and natural stone for both residential and commercial projects.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship, is dependable, and can work efficiently with minimal supervision. If you’re a motivated professional with attention to detail, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Measure and cut tile to fit specified layouts
• Prepare and level surfaces for installation (including mortar bed work)
• Install tile using appropriate adhesives and techniques
• Grout, clean, and finish tile surfaces
• Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy
• Work efficiently to meet project timelines
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Communicate professionally with customers and project managers

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a tile installer (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Skilled in using hand tools and tile cutting equipment
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Positive attitude and good work ethic
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
