Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Physician for its established Wound Care team in Bradenton FL. Provider must be well versed in advanced wound care methods including wound VAC and skin substitutes.

As part of this role you will:

• Examine assess prescribe and treat patients within scope of practice
  
• Debridement of wounds by sharp enzymatic and autolytic.
  
• Application and management of topical wound care and associated wound management products
  
• Diabetic Foot Ulcer risk assessment for Members with Diabetes as per the ADA guidelines
  
• Direction and recommendation of associated services to improve wound healing outcomes. This includes but not limited to labs radiologic tests vascular tests referrals home health care VAC device and/or orthotics.
  
• Interpretation of diagnostic tests and recommendation of appropriate follow up to same.
  
• Prescribe required medications and/or Durable Medical Equipment or supplies (DME) to facilitate wound healing and/or wound prevention.
